I've always loved making things.
As a kid, I stayed up past midnight the day a creative project was assigned, not because it was due soon, but because I couldn’t wait to start. And when I started, the excitement from seeing my ideas come to life only encouraged me to continue.
As an adult, I’ve turned entire seasons of my life into creative residencies, testing ideas, prototyping, building, and learning through whatever I could get my hands on.
People often say life is about the journey, not the destination. Sounds cheesy? Perhaps, but to me, the process of designing works in a similar way. There’s something magical about watching a small spark of an idea turn into a sketch, then a prototype, and eventually something real that people can use. That transformation, from imagination to impact, never gets old.
Of course, the process isn’t always smooth. There are constraints, roadblocks, and unexpected turns you can’t plan for. But I’ve learned that these moments are where the most growth happens. Every challenge invites a new perspective, a new skill, a new way of solving a problem. And that’s what keeps me excited: the journey of making, learning, iterating, and building again.
This is what led me into UX and product design.
